MAKNA Cancer Awareness Exhibitions

Every year, MAKNA’s Cancer Awareness and Education team organizes a sizeable number of exhibitions to spread the message on cancer in any part of the country.

As one of MAKNA’s core commitments to the public, information and education on cancer is brought by the team to communities just about anywhere, wherever the demand is. With year-by-year cancer statistics reporting increasing incidence of cancer, the importance of creating awareness about the disease is even more pronounced than ever.

The team adapts to the environment and surroundings of where the exhibition is placed to bring out the best experience possible.

Educational Talks & Exams

Talks are conducted by medically trained personnel in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Demonstrations of breast self-examinations and clinical breast exams are often included.

Updated Exhibits

New materials are regularly added to improve public understanding of cancer causes, risks, symptoms, treatments, and more.

Corporate Packages

To cover costs, MAKNA offers exhibition packages. Companies can sponsor exhibitions and donate them to selected communities.

Fundraising Efforts

During events, the team also raises funds by engaging with organizers and visitors in creative ways.
